Photographer Hunting...

You know what's sad?

Is when you're trying to find a cheaper wedding photographer that can match the deal your original photographer gave you...and no one comes close to it.

Now our photog isn't that expensive....$2400 for engagement pics, 8-hour wedding shoot and a few little extras thrown in. In fact, considering his style of photography (photo journalistic with the standard posed shots thrown in), it's actually a damn great deal. Hubby and I decided that if we were going to splurge on one thing regarding the wedding, it was going to be the photography. Everything else we can manage.

So once we received the contract, we were asking ourselves, 'Do we really want to spend this much?' After researching different photographers, far and wide and seeing the price range from under $800 to an extraordinary STFU amount of $5500, we started to wonder...

Yes....$2400 isn't a bad deal. Still pricey, but man....those pics and memories....so worth it...
